Beyond technical superiority, shooting exclusively on 35mm film is my homage to a bygone era. I strive to recapture the essence of how life was once perceived, evoking nostalgia for a time when moments were savored rather than instantly gratified. It's about rekindling that lost connection to the tactile and the authentic. There's a raw, organic quality to film photography that simply cannot be replicated by pixels and algorithms. My creative journey is heavily influenced by the enigmatic allure of French New Wave cinema of the late 70’s and the carefree nostalgia of 80’s coming of age American cinema. Through the grainy textures and moody hues of film, I aim to transport myself to where imagination reigns supreme.
